Our story

One on One Therapy Services

I am a member of the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority (ARA), Federation of Holistic Therapies (FHT) , Complimentary Medical Association (CMA) and Sport Therapy Organisation (STO). I am fully insured for all of my modalities. Most of my clients don’t come to me with one clear injury. They come with a body that’s stopped trusting itself — an athlete still guarding a joint long after the scan came back clear, or a working parent whose shoulders never quite drop even on a day off. My approach treats both the physical and the psychological side of that, because in my experience, that’s usually where recovery actually happens. I have more than 15 years experience in sporting injuries and rehabilitation with success in rehabilitation for athletes I have worked with over many years. Whether you’re an athlete who’s cleared to play but can’t quite let go, or a busy professional whose body never seems to switch off — you’re in the right place. I help people feel safe in their own bodies again, one session at a time.

Frequently asked questions.

Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to complete any consultation forms and discuss your treatment goals. Shower beforehand if possible and arrive with clean skin. Please avoid wearing make-up, especially if you are having a face, neck or scalp massage, as massage oils may remove it. Avoid applying heavy body lotions, oils or fake tan on the day of your appointment where possible. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that is easy to change in and out of. Please do not arrive under the influence and drugs or alcohol as I will be unable to carry out any treatment. Try not to eat a large meal within an hour before your massage, although a light snack is absolutely fine. Stay well hydrated before your appointment.

You don’t need to bring towels – these are provided. If you have long hair, bringing a hair tie can help keep it comfortable during treatment. Please bring details of any medication or recent injuries if they haven’t already been discussed.

Your comfort is my priority. You will be appropriately draped with towels throughout the treatment, with only the area being worked on exposed. Please let me know at any time if the pressure is too light, too firm, if you become too warm or cold, or if you feel uncomfortable for any reason. Feel free to relax, chat or simply enjoy the quiet.

Please let me know before your appointment if: You are feeling unwell or have a cold, flu, sickness or any contagious illness. You have developed a new injury, rash, infection or skin condition. You are pregnant or think you may be. There have been any changes to your medical history or medication since booking.

Drink plenty of water throughout the rest of the day. Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive alcohol and very hot baths for the next 24 hours where possible.
